Certified Home Appraisals
Appraisers are either licensed or certified.
Licensure is for residential property only. It is the entry level in the appraisal profession.
Certification is offered by the State in two categories.
Certified Residential Appraisers can conduct appraisals of any residential single family property plus small plexes (2, 3 and 4 plexes).
Certified General Appraisers can conduct appraisals on any property type including residential, industrial, apartments, office buildings, shopping centers, etc.
